Job Description

Corra is looking for a ReactJS Developer to join our team. This role will work with our project and support teams to provide our clients with high quality technology services. They will work with the team on new ecommerce projects from initial business development and discovery phases, to UX/UI Design, to implementation and deployment of the solution. In addition, they will maintain and enhance existing ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices. Preferably an experienced ecommerce professional, this person will have a passion for researching and learning the latest digital technologies.

Responsibilities
 

  • Work with the Corra team on new ecommerce projects, from initial business development and discovery phases through implementation and deployment of the completed project
  • Maintain and enhance existing ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices
  • Play a significant role in the requirements gathering, working with Design and Delivery
  • Managers by providing technical suggestions
  • Work with Corra Design team to provide UX/UI technology direction to meet client budgets
  • Partake in Scrum and Sprint planning calls and provide technical input (approach,estimate)
  • Perform code review before deployment and provide technical review/ feedback to engineers
  • Have a detailed technical understanding on work happening in assigned projects
  • Have technical ownership of groups of projects
     

REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Strong experience with Remix.js and Next.js
  • Develop and maintain headless Shopify applications using Remix.
  • Expert in ES6 and React JS
  • Experience in developing Shopify headless commerce solutions
  • Experience in Node.js
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
  • Working knowledge in Tailwind CSS
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in algorithm design
  • Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
  • Ability to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
     

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Shopify Hydrogen experience is preferred
  • Working experience with the ecommerce development process, and the ability to
  • create solutions for common questions/concerns on this type of platform
  • Understanding of common web analytics suites (Google Analytics, Omniture) and experience implementing these systems
  • Comfortable researching and adopting new web technologies
  • Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring applications adhere to them.
  • Understanding of ADA compliance and coding practices around it
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering and static site generation.
  • Shopify Plus project implementation experience
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) methodologies.
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
