What you’ll do?

At Newfold Digital we’re looking for an Engineer for our Developer Platform team to help us build state of the art systems that will supercharge our engineering teams and advance our DevOps, CI/CD, container, and cloud adoption. The team is empowered to build, maintain, and evangelize tools consumed by our Engineering Teams.

Our goal is to make our software engineers more efficient and productive as they pass through the Software Development Life Cycle. To reach our goals we are redefining the next generation of SDLC for Newfold using containers, Jenkins, and a developer’s portal to streamline software deployment in all environments. We are looking for engineers at all career and experience levels.

Responsibilities Include
 

• Understand, develop, and enhance our containerization offerings.
• Work with Software Engineers to develop and support their Continuous Delivery and Deployment process.
• Engineer, maintain, and contribute to Jenkins File Shared libraries.
• Maintain and enhance our Jenkins infrastructure.
• Enhance existing tools through internal and third-party software.
  
   

Required Experience In Several Of The Following
 

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OKD, container management, creating Docker files, etc.
• Engineering experience with modern development languages: o Java, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, Python, or Groovy
• Passion for automation (Terraform)
• Experience with CI tools (Jenkins)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
• Advanced knowledge of Linux systems
• Great communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
  
   

Good To Have Experience
 

• Prior experience with agile development and project management
• Knowledge of build tools (Gradle, Maven)
• Knowledge of Jenkins Files and Groovy would be ideal
• Knowledge of Argo CD is a plus.
• Experience with Bitbucket is a plus (git experience is required)
