We are looking for a Junior System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our computer systems and network infrastructure. They should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
 

Responsibilities
 

• Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Conduct regular system backups and recovery operations in the event of data loss.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including resolving hardware and software issues, answering technical questions, and providing training as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all hardware, software, and system configurations. Collaborate with other IT team members and vendors to ensure system compatibility and scalability.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as installing software updates and patches, and conducting system audits.
• Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.
• Review application logs.
• Install and test computer-related equipment.​

Requirements

• 0-1 years training /internship experience in System Engineer
• Associate or higher degree in a related field
• Extensive experience with VMware
• Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
• Basic understanding of insurance goals and practices
• Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
   

Experience and Qualification

• 0-1 years
• Recent graduates or Diploma (preferably 2023/2024 batch)/B.Tech in IT / CS / MCA.
