The Associate UI Engineer (AUIE) will be one of the collaborators of the engineering team at LM, helping us to become a best-in-class infrastructure software product engineering team. The AUIE, reporting to the Team Lead, is responsible for strong individual contribution and demonstrating best practices. The AUIE should have strong critical thinking skills and enthusiasm for adopting new technology to solve business problems. They will be expected to learn from more senior engineers, developing skills and domain expertise.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Prioritize and plan deliverables in a 3-week scrum cycle, with 1-week regression testing, moving towards continuous deployment.
  • Design, document, code, and test solutions for new features and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product/ application issues for escalated support cases.
  • Collaborate with a distributed development team across US and Asia.
  • Build components that meet specifications.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science or Math preferred.
  • 0-1 years of software development experience in commercial or enterprise applications.
  • 1+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer using modern frameworks like React or Angular (TypeScript is a plus).
  • Familiarity with agile development and continuous integration/ continuous delivery methodologies.
  • Experience contributing to web applications, testing components, and working in a team repository.
  • Proficient with browser debugging tools for layout.
