Core responsibilities

• Design, build & maintain robust, high-performant, scalable, testable and easily maintainable modular software components.
• Adopt and contribute to cutting-edge open source technologies
• Interact & collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to meet deadlines, to bring your feature to life.
• Handle end to end feature delivery as part of founding team.
• Perform code reviews.
• Document your code thoroughly to ensure knowledge or skills are not centralised

Required skills

• Experience in building scalable, reliable and high-performance web applications. While we work primarily with JS and Node, we care more about your ability to write clean and well-designed code than knowledge of a particular language or framework.
• Have worked on any one of the component based JS libraries like React, Vue, Angular, etc
• A solid understanding of how the web works.
• Good understanding of RESTful API concepts.
• A passion for writing high-quality code and upholding best practices in engineering, security, and design.
• You’ve built complex web applications through multiple iterations and understand how code and architecture both evolve over time.
• You understand that your responsibility is not just to write code, but to work with the team to build an excellent product.

Desired skills

• Familiar with any one of the cloud environments like AWS, GCP etc.
• Familiarity with NestJS or Fastify is a big plus.
